Melbourne's Lyric Opera brings back GWL Marshall-Hall's Stella for the first time since 1914.

Season runs 25 to 30 September.

A fascinating gem of Australia's musical and social history, Stella is set in bayside Melbourne at the time of Federation. Stella is the story of a Nurse ruined by suburban hypocrisy, brought to life through radiant and powerful music.

Marking 100 years since the composer's death, Lyric Opera's production celebrates Marshall-Hall's significant role in our history through this not to be missed revival of his important and beautiful opera.

Tickets are $49.50 (full), $39.50 (concession) and $35 (under 30s).
